Our entire lives had been shaped around our identity as identical quadruplets. Four sisters, all with the same face, but totally different personalities. We were four of a kind, and there was never a time when we didn't have each other to lean on.

But when our parents announced that we'd been moving away from the city and back to the town where we were born, we could no longer be certain of anything but change.

This is where we were.

Prequel to Four of a Kind, a new series coming from Kellie Sheridan in 2015.

My thoughts:

My first review of 2017!! I picked a really short book for my first book in 2017 just to get myself in the reading spirit!!

This book follows four identical sisters as they are about to move from their childhood home back to the town where they were born.  They had originally moved because it was expensive to raise four children and their parents needed more money.   The girl's mother got a great job in there original home town and they are now moving back.

The book is broken into short chapters about each sister.   Each chapter starts with a quote either written by one of the sisters about another sister or the sister wrote a note about themselves.   I enjoyed these little quotes I felt like these really captured the personality of the sisters.  I liked that we also got to see how the sisters thought about each other because sometimes with sisters you don't always see their true feelings for one another.

The sisters are preparing to move to the place where they were born in this book and we get to see how they say good-bye.  We got a quick look at each sister and how they felt about moving.   We also get a very solid insight into their personalities.

I can't wait to read the first book in the series and see what conflicts the sisters will be getting into.   The sisters seem to have a pretty tight bond, but moving to a new place might lead to some drama so I can't wait to see what happens.

My one issue with the book was in the beginning it felt a little confusing I wish there was a preface that gave us a quick background on each sister before we jumped right in.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for the purpose of providing an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

About the Author

Kellie has been in love with stories in all of their forms for as long as she can remember. Admittedly, sometimes that means falling into places like Stars Hollow and Sunnydale, but books have always been her true love.

Kellie spent part of her twenties living in Galway, Ireland and swooning after various lilting accents but is now back home in Ontario, Canada. Her family includes two Glen of Imaal Terriers and an Australian Labradoodle.
